Rural taluka on the eastern edge of the Little Rann of Kutch; Surendranagar district, Gujarat.
A semi-arid block of around 65 villages and 200,000 people. Salt-pan workers (Agariya) migrate seasonally into the Rann; agriculture leans on bore-irrigated cotton and groundnut. There is no anchor town — Dasada and Dhrangadhra are the closest market hubs. Civic delivery flows through the Block Development Office and the gram panchayats.
